Kenya Rodriguez

Programs Director

Kenya Rodriguez is a youth development professional who has been leading Girls Inc. of Carpinteria programs for nine years. Kenya knows firsthand the power of strong mentors in supporting girls and young women and aims to give back to the community that empowered her.

Kenya holds a bachelors of the arts in Women’s and Gender Studies from the University of Redlands and is deeply committed to advancing gender equity. She was named National Association of Women Business Owners Santa Barbara’s Education Advocate of the Year in 2022 for her work on Girls Inc. of Carpinteria’s Eureka! Program and helping to support local youth advocacy.

She collaborates with the Girls Inc. National Network to develop models and best practices for the national network. She is an alumni of the the Katherine Harvey Fellowship, a personal and professional leadership-development experience focused on combatting child poverty as local issue.
