As the year draws to a close, we’re reflecting on the powerful moments that have shaped our Girls Inc. community. Every classroom, every after-school gathering, and every moment of discovery reminds us how incredible our girls are — and how deeply our community shows up to support them.

This season offers us the chance to look back at the programs, partnerships, and experiences that empower girls to grow strong, smart, and bold. It is also a time to honor the people behind the scenes: the mentors, volunteers, families, and supporters who help create a place where girls feel safe, supported, and seen.

After-School Enrichment: Confidence in Every Corner

Each afternoon, our campus comes alive with curiosity, creativity, and connection. Through our After School Enrichment Program, girls explore science, literacy, art, sports, leadership, and hands-on opportunities that encourage them to discover new passions and build confidence.

It’s a space filled with teamwork, learning, and friendship — where girls use their voices, express themselves, try new things, and learn what it means to persevere. These experiences help shape the inner resiliency that stays with them long after the school day ends.

Eureka! and Project Accelerate: Opening Doors to the Future

As girls grow, their questions grow with them — about who they want to be, what they’re capable of, and how to navigate the world ahead. Through our teen programs, they never have to explore those questions alone.

Eureka! introduces middle and high school girls to immersive STEAM learning, real-world experiences, and mentors who help them envision their future. Project Accelerate provides young women with the networks, guidance, and support to navigate high school, college, and early career choices.

Together, these programs ensure girls see a future filled with possibilities and understand the pathways that can lead them there.

Community Resilience & Support Programs

Supporting girls means supporting the families and caregivers who stand beside them. Our Community Resilience & Support Programs are designed to meet essential needs, foster connection, and help families build the resiliency that allows girls to thrive both inside and outside our walls.

This work extends far beyond our food pantry. It includes:

• Providing consistent access to essential resources — from food and daily necessities to emergency supports — so families feel steady and supported through changing circumstances.
• Partnering with local organizations and community members to close gaps and connect families with resources they might not otherwise access.
• Creating a trusted, welcoming environment where families can ask questions, find guidance, and feel connected to a community that cares.
• Centering dignity, cultural connection, and compassion in every interaction so that families feel recognized, respected, and encouraged.

These programs strengthen the foundation around each girl, creating space for her to grow, learn, and lead with confidence.
