EUREKA!
The Girls Inc. Eureka! program is an intensive, five-year STEM based program that builds girls’ confidence and skills through hands-on opportunities in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM). Utilizing a “whole girl” approach, the program also incorporates sports and physical fitness, personal development, and college and career readiness.
Five-year College Bound Program
Eureka! broadens girls’ future academic and career interests, encourages confidence in STEM, promotes positive risk-taking, and assists girls in developing networks of peers and mentors to support their future endeavors. Eureka cohorts stay together throughout the five years of the program, forming a sisterhood of girls committed to reaching their full potential. Girls test themselves mentally and physically and discover that they are capable of far more than they had ever thought possible.
Summers at UCSB
Girls participate in hands-on engineering and robotics projects, visit college labs, and interact with professors and graduate students working in STEM fields.
Externships
Working alongside professionals at businesses throughout Santa Barbara and Ventura counties, girls gain valuable skills in a professional environment and explore the possibilities for their futures.

College Bound
Girls Inc. is committed to seeing the scholars through to high school graduation. Workshops are provided to support the girls and their families as they navigate financial aid, scholarships and the college application process.
Advocacy
Eureka!’s advocacy programming is grounded in the lived experiences of girls. They explore issues, challenges and successes in their communities and get valuable opportunities to share these with local, state and national leaders. Our Eureka! Advocacy trip allows girls to connect with the highest levels of government, envision themselves as change makers and become civically engaged individuals.
