Advocate
We translate our work with girls into powerful advocacy to improve opportunities for girls to succeed and lead healthy, independent, and educated lives.
Driving policies and practices that open doors to girls and ensure equality. We engage in advocacy that focuses on the needs of girls from low-income communities and girls who face multiple, intersectional challenges such as those based on sex, race, religion, ethnicity, immigration status, disability, socioeconomic status, sexual orientation, and gender identity.

Volunteer
Community members from across Santa Barbara county contribute their time and talent at Girls Inc. to make the world better for girls – whether they’re helping a third-grade girl practice her reading, showing a middle school girl around their company, or speaking to a group of high school girls about potential career paths.
Girls Inc. of Carpinteria is proud to have more than 100 dedicated volunteers each year. We seek people for on-going commitments, short-term projects and internships.
Get involved by joining the Girls Inc. team and help us change the world: one girl, one family, one community at a time. Learn more.
